QUALIFICATIONS…
Do I have to have classroom instruction experience?
Classroom experience is not required, but the ability to teach and communicate effectively with student applicators is important. This experience and qualification can be demonstrated in a variety of ways. It is the responsibility of the proposer to demonstrate ability to teach effectively in the proposal.
 
Do I have to have a current applicators license to submit a proposal?
A valid pesticide applicator certification card is not required; however, having taken a PSEP workshop and successfully passed the exam is preferred.
 
Do I need to have a CNMI Business License?
Yes. Please submit a valid CNMI Business License in your proposal.
 
TRAINING MATERIALS…
Do I have to prepare my own materials, or can I use existing materials developed by other states and territories?
You are welcome to create your own materials, however, it is recommended that you utilize existing training materials and supplement the materials with your own materials. For example, the NASDAR Core Manual is available online http://www.nasda.org/workersafety/; as well as Cornell University http://psep.cce.cornell.edu/Tutorials/core-tutorial/Default.aspx  .  
 
PROJECT TIMELINE…
What is the project time?
The start to finish timeline of the project shall not exceed more than eighteen (18) months from receiving the Notice to Proceed (NTP) letter from the DEQ. 
 
PROJECT COST…
What is the estimated available funding for this project?
The total available funding to implement the project is up to $14,000. 
 
How will payments be contracted?
The contractor may submit invoices for payment upon the completion of each task outlined in the Scope of Work. The Contractor may also opt to submit invoices for payment on a quarterly basis, as long as the deliverables or completed tasks are outlined.
