Pesticides and Storage Tanks
DEQ's Pesticide and Storage Tank branch protects public health and the environment by preventing the release of harmful substances through enforcement of local and federal environmental regulations. This branch is responsible for the permitting, inspection and monitoring of storage tank (aboveground and underground) installation and operation;and regulating the importation, sale, distribution and application (use) of Pesticides in the CNMI.
